The Asset Finder is a powerful tool within Kwanti that simplifies the process of adding assets to your portfolio or model, as well as searching for specific assets within the Asset Profile. Here's how to access and effectively utilize the Asset Finder.

Accessing the Asset Finder:

When adding an asset to your portfolio or model, or when searching for an asset within the Asset Profile, simply type '?' in the search box.

This action triggers the display of Kwanti's Asset Finder, providing you with tabs for different asset types.

Searching in the Asset Finder

The Asset Finder allows you to perform detailed searches based on asset names.

When conducting searches, the Asset Finder employs certain rules to refine your results:

• • Multiple Word Searches:
    • When using multiple words (e.g., large cap), an asset is reported as a match if all given words are included in the asset name, regardless of their order.
  • Exact Matching:
    • Enclosing your search query within double quotes (e.g., "xxx yyy") enables exact matching to the asset name. For example:
      • Searching for "xxx yyy" zzz will find assets with a name containing "xxx yyy" and zzz.
      • Searching for xxx yyy zzz will find assets with a name containing xxx, yyy, and zzz
