Customizing Cover Pages

PDF report cover pages can be customized with layouts, colors, backgrounds, and positioning to match your firm's branding. This guide covers how to access and use the cover page editor.

Accessing the Cover Page Editor

1. When creating or editing a PDF report, navigate to the cover page section
2. Click the Edit Design link next to "Cover Page"
3. This opens the cover page editor where you can customize all design elements

Layout Options

The cover page editor includes 8 preset layouts to choose from. To select a layout, simply click on the desired preset in the editor.

Color Backgrounds (customizable colors):

• Basic, Envelope, Curve

Image Backgrounds (crop or replace with custom image):

• Mountain Mist, Mountain Lake, Leaf, Reflection, Sunset
• Click Change Background Image on the left side to upload your own custom background image

Customizing Your Design

Adding Logo:

• Click Add Logo to upload JPG or PNG files
• For best quality, use high-resolution images (800+ pixels)
• Click on existing logos to replace them
• Hover over the logo to reveal editor controls for moving and resizing

Client Name:

• Auto-populates if portfolio is in a Client Folder
• For standalone portfolios, click the client name field to edit
• Kwanti saves and remembers the name for future reports

Change Colors:

• Click on any text block to select it
• Use the color picker to adjust text colors

Move Elements:

• Click and drag logo, text blocks, or other elements to reposition them

Custom Background:

• On image layouts, click Change Background Image to upload your own

Add Disclosures:

• Click Add Disclosure to include compliance text
• Click on existing disclosures and select Remove Disclosure to delete

Saving Your Cover Page Design

1. Once you've finished customizing your cover page, click Save Cover
2. This design becomes your default cover page for future reports
3. Note: You cannot save multiple cover page templates at this time - each save overwrites the previous default design
