To view the income analysis, select the Income tab within a portfolio.
The estimate covers two sources of income for the next 12 months:
- dividends from stocks and funds
- interest payments from fixed income assets
Capital gains are not included in yield calculations.
How the estimate is calculated
The values shown are an estimate based on the trailing 12 months of distributions. Actual future distributions may vary depending on the security issuer's approval, and there is no guarantee that actual distributions will equal the values shown. For fixed income assets, the estimate assumes no default from the issuer.
Note: If you prefer to use SEC yield when available for the estimated income, that can be enabled for your account. When enabled, the estimate in the Income tab and on the Estimated Income page of the PDF report uses SEC yield. If no SEC yield is available for an asset, the TTM yield is used for that asset. Email support@kwanti.com to enable this option.
Even with SEC yield enabled, the portfolio's current yield shown on the Stats subtab of the Performance page, and the Current Yield field under Key Stats on the PDF Performance page, uses the TTM yield.
