Please Note: This feature is currently in beta test. Please contact support@kwanti.com for early access.
The Model Watchlist displays your models in a single table so you can view composition, risk, and performance metrics across your lineup without opening each model individually. It works like the asset watchlist, but tracks entire models rather than individual securities.
Accessing the model watchlist
- Launch Kwanti and navigate to the Portfolio Analytics section.
- Click the Watchlist button at the top of the screen, then select the Models subtab.
Creating a model watchlist
The first time you open the Models subtab, Kwanti prompts you to create one:
- Click New.
- In the dialog box, enter a name for the watchlist (for example, Core Models or Client Sleeves).
- Click Ok.
Create as many model watchlists as you need to organize different groups of models.
Adding models to your model watchlist
- Click the Add button at the top of the watchlist.
- Select the models you want to include from the dropdown.
You can add any model in your account, not only models built by hand in Kwanti. This includes models imported from integration partners such as Advyzon, iRebal, Nitrogen, and Orion, and any model from the Model Marketplace.
Note: If you delete a model that you imported via an integration partner from Kwanti, that model is also removed from any model watchlists.
Customizing columns
Name is a fixed first column. You can add, remove, and reorder the remaining columns to suit your analysis.
Selecting columns
Available metrics are grouped by type:
- Composition and holdings: Composition, # of Holdings, Rebalance Strategy, Source
- Performance: 1Yr Performance, Inception return, plus a Return column you can add for specific periods (1m, 3m, 1y, 3y annualized, 5y annualized, 10y annualized, Ytd, Mtd, Qtd)
- Risk: Risk Score, Volatility, Drawdown, Sharpe, Sortino, Alpha, Beta, Up Capture, Down Capture, Info Ratio
- Fee and yield: Advisor Fee, Expense Ratio, Yield (%)
To choose which columns display:
- Click the Columns dropdown in the top right of the watchlist.
- Check or uncheck the columns you want.
Your selection saves automatically.
Adding metrics for specific periods
Several categories — Drawdown, Volatility, Sharpe, Sortino, Alpha, Beta, Up Capture, Down Capture, Info Ratio, and Return — expand to offer timeframes. Each timeframe you select becomes its own column.
- Click the category to expand it.
- Check the timeframes you want.
Reordering columns
You can customize the order of columns by dragging and dropping:
- Click and hold on a column header.
- Drag it to your desired position.
- Release to drop the column in its new location.
Sorting by column
- Click a column header to sort by that column in ascending order.
- Click again to sort in descending order.
Managing multiple model watchlists
Kwanti allows you to create and manage multiple model watchlists to organize different model groups:
- Use the watchlist dropdown at the top of the screen to switch between your model watchlists.
- Click New to create an additional watchlist.
- Click Save As to duplicate an existing watchlist with a new name.
